Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The TK-Liner Chargehand will oversee and participate in the daily operations of the TK-Lining and associated processes. Reporting to the TK-Liner Manufacturing Supervisor, TK-Lining Manager, and UK Country Manager, the role involves supervising TK-Liner Operators and Assistants (both staff and temporary). This position ensures that departmental activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with NOV’s Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and Quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate hourly work schedules as directed by the Supervisor/Manager
  • Liaise with supervisory staff on schedule variations and contribute to resolution plans
  • Lead and supervise assigned personnel in achieving schedule, productivity, quality, safety, and training goals
  • Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and inventory control of tools and test equipment
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and replacements as needed
  • Continuously work to enhance department processes and operational efficiency
  • Verify appropriate tool usage for each task and ensure readiness for upcoming assignments
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the work area
  • Participate in team briefings and proactively address potential challenges
  • Support the training and development of team members
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
