ABOUT THE ROLE

As a deputy with Farplace Animal Rescue you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our charity shop. You’ll assist in running the shop smoothly, provide cover when needed and help us maximize the impact of our charity’s mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the Shop Manager and with daily operations and running the store in their absence.
• Completing end of day cashing up and weekly cash reconciliation.
• Assisting with the training and supervision of volunteers.
• Delivering excellent customer service to shop visitors.
• Helping with stock processing, sorting donations, and merchandising.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment.
• Acting as a keyholder and ensuring shop security as required.
