Newtown Salvation Army operates a busy charity shop & food bank, which works to meet the needs of the local community and to raise funds for the work of the Salvation Army in the local area. We are looking to appoint an experienced Charity Shop Manager to join our team of staff & volunteers. We are seeking someone who will oversee the safe and effective management of the shop and community work & who will work to further the mission of The Salvation Army & contribute to our community in an impactful way.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities will include ensuring the highest standards of customer care, managing the daily operation of the shop including stock management and shop appearance including the prayer space, assisting with the community work where required, managing the security and accounting of cash, health and safety issues, safeguarding & administrative tasks, and the recruitment, training, management and supervision of volunteers & who will oversee the safe and effective management of the charity shop.
