DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Le titulaire est responsable des tâches suivantes :

  • construire, réparer et entretenir des structures et des installations en bois, y compris des caisses, des palettes et des infrastructures de l’usine.
  • effectuer des inspections régulières et des réparations des composantes en bois afin d’assurer la sécurité et l’efficacité de l’usine.
  • accomplir des tâches supplémentaires telles que la plomberie, les travaux de tôlerie et l’entretien des portes de garage,
  • contribuer aux modifications et aux améliorations des installations de l’usine.
  • travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de production et d’entretien pour répondre aux besoins opérationnels.
  • fournir une expertise en charpenterie lors des mises à niveau et des expansions de l’usine.
  • approvisionner efficacement les matériaux et gérer les ressources en charpenterie de manière responsable.
  • formuler des recommandations pour améliorer les matériaux ou les conceptions.
  • effectuer toute autre tâche que la direction pourra lui assigner

JOB DESCRIPTION

The employee is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Build, repair and maintain wood structures and facilities, including crates, pallets and plant infrastructure.
  • perform regular inspections and repairs of wood components to ensure plant safety and efficiency.
  • perform additional tasks such as plumbing, sheet metal work and garage door maintenance,
  • contribute to modifications and improvements to plant facilities.
  • work closely with production and maintenance teams to meet operational needs
  • Provide carpentry expertise for plant upgrades and expansions
  • source materials efficiently and manage carpentry resources responsibly.
  • Make recommendations to improve materials or designs.
  • perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Journeyman status or a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in carpentry, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • proficiency with power tools, hand tools and carpentry machinery.
  • ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • be a very conscientious employee with a high sense of responsibility
  • grade 12 education preferred
