OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive environment for passengers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus operation. Class 2 with Airbrakes and class 1 with Air Brakes only
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with passengers and staff.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards passengers.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to scheduled times and stops.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the bus to maintain mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus interior.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
