QUALIFICATIONS

  • Chartered membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (Essential)
  • Insurance
  • Experience in mental health assessment and support
  • Knowledge of medical and psychological research
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
  • Empathy and compassion for patients
  • Understanding of ethical guidelines and professional standards
  • Experience with child populations

Responsibilities

We are seeking a chartered psychologist (Counselling, Clinical or Educational) to join the ream to work with children & adolescents.
The Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological therapy, psychological assessments (where trained) and mental health support to children and adults (if interested). The role will also involve collaborating with medical professionals and participating in interdisciplinary teams. While the role is primarily located in Galway, there is flexibility for some remote work.
