Role Overview: Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a highly experienced Chartered Engineer / Estimation Engineer to lead the technical and financial evaluation of a 10MW Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) plant integrated within a cement manufacturing facility in the UAE. This role will play a critical part in validating plant performance, forecasting CAPEX/OPEX exposure, and supporting acquisition decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Review Heat & Mass Balance (HMB), PFDs, and P&IDs Validate design vs. actual power output (10MW benchmark) Perform thermodynamic performance analysis (Steam Rankine / ORC) Assess turbine efficiency and degradation factors Develop 5-year CAPEX forecast Estimate Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of major components Quantify financial impact of performance gaps Contribute to Technical Due Diligence Report Requirements Chartered Engineer (Mechanical / Thermal / Power Engineering) Minimum 10+ years in thermal power generation or WHR systems Experience with cement plant integration (AQC & SP boilers preferred) Strong understanding of UAE industrial environment Transaction advisory or cost estimation experience in GCC is a strong advantage Preferred Skills Experience with 10MW+ steam turbine systems Familiarity with ambient derating in high-temperature regions Strong technical reporting and financial modelling skills
