JMD Group LLP Chartered Professional Accountant is an established accounting firm in St. Paul, Alberta. We are located approximately 200KM northeast of Edmonton in a community of over 5,000 people.
Our office provides compilation, review, and audit services. We also provide personal and corporate income tax preparation and planning services as well as estate and succession planning services to clients in different stages of their lives. We are an approved training office. There are currently six partners ranging in age from 36 to 71, two staff CPA’s, fourteen accounting technicians and two support staff.

Our ideal candidate would have a CPA designation and one or more years of public practice experience and a strong desire to take responsibility for servicing small to medium sized clients. There is no requirement to have experience in all the disciplines of public practice but it is important that you have the desire to gain this experience.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Planning and completion of review and audit engagements for various types of organizations.
• Preparation and completion of compilation engagements.
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Experience with Caseware, Sage 50, QuickBooks, Cantax and Microsoft Office is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
