Description

A well-established ship owner located in Singapore is seeking a Chartering & Operations Executive on permanent position.

Budget :

  • S$ 4000 - 4500 per month
  • Annual Leave - 14 days
  • Medical Leave – 14 days
  • Hospitalization as per MOM regulations
  • Insurance : Group Hospitalization & Surgical Plan and Personal Accident
  • Bonus – 2 to 2.5 months subjective to company’s performance

You will ensure optimal utilization of our existing fleet of tankers. You will coordinate on all ship operations as per time and spot charters and communicate closely with the Master in-charge to ensure the tanker operations are carried out smoothly. You will also be involved in claims matters and participate in negotiations of chartering contracts and prepare voyage performance for management reviews.

Responsibilities :

  • Invite & obtain agencies’ quotations from shipping agents before appointment
  • Compare & negotiate on agency rates
  • Monitor & liaise with agents on tanker movements
  • Arrange pilot for Singapore inward, berthing, unberthing & outward passage
  • Advise & monitor vessel’s status of operation
  • Prepare & instruct vessel for loading and discharging operations
  • Report to charterers on the status of tanker operationFollow-up with customers on payment matters

Requirements :

  • Degree / Diploma in Business Administration/ Commerce/ Logistics Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of chartering / operations / post fixture experience with shipowners, charterers or shipbrokersExperience in commercial aspects of ship operations and management is preferred
