Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and validation standards (ASPICE, FMVSS, etc.). Develop and report on chassis software maturity metrics to leadership. Mentor and coach engineers, fostering growth and cross-functional collaboration. Support proving ground, winter test, and internal vehicle demo campaigns. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field. 8-12 years of experience in chassis software integration, controls, or systems engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong technical understanding of chassis control systems (brakes, steering, EPB, TPMS, stability control). Experience with prototype vehicle bring-up, software flashing, and diagnostics. Proficiency with automotive tools and protocols (CAN, UDS, DoIP, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape). Familiar with calibration processes and vehicle-level attributes tuning for chassis systems. Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and FMVSS requirements. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, prototype-heavy environment. Willingness to travel to proving grounds and supplier sites.
