JOB DESCRIPTION

Onset Technologies is seeking a Microsoft AI Chatbot Developer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent conversational agents using Copilot Studio and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role will focus on delivering enterprise-grade chatbot solutions that integrate with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services, and external systems to enhance user productivity and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power Platform development, AI-driven chat interfaces, and Azure AI services, with the ability to design and configure complex dialog flows, integrations, and workflows. Candidates must have proven expertise in deploying solutions across environments, adhering to governance, and troubleshooting advanced integration issues.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills to work with business, IT, and vendor teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of hands-on development with Microsoft Power Platform (including deployments across environments).
• 1+ year of experience with Copilot Studio for chat-driven interfaces.
• 6+ years of Power Automate workflow development and integrations.
• 4+ years of Power Apps development.
• 3+ years of SharePoint development and integration.
• 5+ years working with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• 1+ year of chatbot development within and outside of SharePoint.
• 1+ year integrating chatbots with external services.
• 2+ years working with Azure AI services.
• 2+ years working with non-Microsoft LLM platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT).

PREFERRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Microsoft certifications: PL-900, AI-900, AI-102, MS-900.
• Experience with Power Platform governance, security, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to handle fast-paced projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

• Design and build sophisticated chatbots using Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Develop and configure dialog flows, workflows, and connectors across Microsoft 365 and external systems.
• Integrate chatbot solutions with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Deploy solutions to multiple environments while following governance and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements, design conversational logic, and deliver enterprise-ready solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex chatbot, Power Platform, and integration issues.
• Leverage Azure AI and non-Microsoft LLM platforms (e.g., Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT) for advanced AI-driven chatbot capabilities.
• Support knowledge sharing, documentation, and adherence to IT standards.
