REGULAR POSITION (40 HOURS) EVENING AND WEEKEND SHIFTS

An evening and weekend premium is offered after the probation period.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and versatile individual to join our Driver / Maintenance team. We offer good working conditions and complete paid training.

Under the authority of the team leader, the Driver / Maintenance team member is responsible for:

  • Resurfacing the ice according to the scheduled times (experience is an asset but not required).
  • Planning and overseeing the cleaning tasks for the facility.
  • Writing reports when necessary and informing the sports center of any irregularities.
  • Adhering to the VMSO code of responsibility and the team member manual to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Welcoming, directing, and informing participants in various activities.
  • Controlling access to the premises according to the schedule set by the facility.
  • Following the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plan.
  • Inspecting and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility (conducting regular rounds during working hours).
  • Preparing and providing the necessary equipment for event organizers and offering support to various stakeholders.
  • Preparing the rooms for different activities (setting up equipment, inspecting the areas for safety, cleanliness, etc.) and ensuring accessibility.
  • Performing other related tasks as required.
