The Opportunity: At Rosauers Supermarkets, we believe that every transaction is an opportunity to brighten someone's day. As a Checker, you'll be the final touchpoint in our customers' shopping journey, ensuring a seamless and friendly checkout experience. Your excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in leaving customers with a lasting positive impression. What You'll Do: Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store Answer customer questions, help them locate items, and provide recommendations Manage transactions with customers using cash registers Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Collect payments whether in cash or credit Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets Redeem stamps and coupons Cross-sell products and introduce new ones Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies Bag or wrap purchases to ensure safe transport Handle merchandise returns and exchanges Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a similar role Enthusiastic and passionate about your work Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations Benefits & Perks: Amazing earning potential, you'll be paid weekly.
