We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking innovative and customer-focused team members to join our Checkout Department. As a member of our team, the primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. Our Checkout team is known for creating a fun, warm and friendly environment by sharing expert product knowledge, answering customers questions and offering helpful suggestions.    Successful candidates will be required to provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, thrive under pressure, and exhibit physical agility and positivity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with regular customers, providing them with the exceptional experience they deserve. This role gives you the opportunity to further develop customer service skills, problem-solving and teamwork skills.    The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key abilities:   Commitment to excellent customer service  Physical fitness and a high level of personal presentation Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Implementation of Food and Health and Safety requirements A natural ability to work with people  Great communication and time management skills with the willingness to learn An ability to play a part in a culture that promotes service and teamwork  Inspires by example   Day to day tasks:   Exceeding customers service expectations Ensure a consistently high level of staff presentation in the Checkout Department Organising, leading and coaching of staff The implementation of our Food and Health and Safety requirements Assist in the organisation and running of the Checkout Department  Training of new staff Management of the Sale and Supply of Liquor   For this role, a License Controller Qualification and current managers certificate is required   The hours for the role are below:   Monday 12:30pm to 9.00pm Wednesday 5.00pm to 9.00pm Friday 3.00pm to 9.00pm Sunday 10:30am to 7.00pm
Responsibilities
The Checkout Supervisor will exceed customer service expectations and ensure high staff presentation in the Checkout Department. They will also organize, lead, and coach staff while implementing food and health safety requirements.
