New World Oamaru Checkout Supervisor We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a passion for customer service for the role of Checkout Supervisor at New World Oamaru. The role includes ensuring customers receive warm, friendly, efficient service along with supporting the checkout team on the floor day to day. Days and hours of work to be discussed at interview stage. What We’re Looking For: Outstanding customer service skills Confident leadership – the ability to stay calm, organised, and solution-focused under pressure Reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated Clear, respectful communication and a positive attitude team-focused, contributing to a supportive, safe, and positive work culture This position involves: Supervising and assisting Checkout, Customer Services, Lotto and Café. You'll also serve as a Duty Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance in the sale of liquor and restricted goods. The successful applicant must have their Liquor Licence Controllers Qualification (LCQ) and Duty Manager's Licence (DM), or ability to acquire this.
