POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Cheerleading Tutor / Supervisor to lead an after-school Cheerleading Club at a primary school in Walthamstow, London. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through cheerleading, helping them build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a love of movement in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs for one hour per week, Monday, 3:30pm – 4:30pm, giving children a weekly chance to develop cheerleading skills, routines, and team spirit.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Experience teaching or leading cheerleading or dance sessions for children.
• Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and safe way.
• Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
• A background in cheerleading, dance, or performance teaching is highly desirable.

• Lead and supervise children during cheerleading sessions in a safe and encouraging environment.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that develop physical fitness, coordination, rhythm, and teamwork.
• Encourage confidence, enthusiasm, and enjoyment in performing.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children’s progress.
• Ensure the training space and equipment are safe, organised, and ready for use.
