Responsibilities The Renaissance Pointe YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic part-time cheerleading & gymnastics instructor to join our team, who will lead toddlers and school-age children through classes that introduce young children(3-11 years old) to body awareness and movement to learn basic cheerleading & gymnastics movements. * Lead: Responsible for monitoring and keeping track of program participants and enforcing all program rules and policies. * Motivate: Include all students and emphasize each participant’s unique capabilities. * Inspire: Maintain a safe and efficient environment, respond to emergencies when needed, and make responsible judgments regarding participant and/or program area conduct. Requirements Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as: * At least 16 years old. * Must possess strong human relations skills and the ability to communicate with participants and staff. * Reliable transportation to and from work. * Ability to lead a group while maintaining structure and control. * Experience in gymnastics is preferred. * Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences. Responsibilities

The instructor will lead part-time cheerleading and gymnastics classes for children aged 3-11, introducing them to basic movements and body awareness. Key duties include monitoring participants, enforcing rules, motivating all students, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
