Starting Wage $20.04 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11pm 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am 5 Days per week Benefits include - Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Load product into brine cages in a timely and orderly fashion maximizing use of cage space and no damage to product * Inspect cheese for non-conforming product, remove such product, return to rework in a timely manner * Keep correct count of cheese on each layer of the cage * Perform housekeeping duties as required * Assist with form changes and table operations * Assist with rework as needed * Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion * Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment. * Check and remove any leftover product in cage shelves before loading. * Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment. * Disassemble equipment for CIP and reassemble when finished. * Change and clean brine filters as needed. * Assist in training of new personnel. * Assist in other production areas as required. * Minimize water usage and eliminate the generation of wastewater within the scope of position. * Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements * Perform related duties as assigned. * Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures. * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee; but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required. Qualifications Education and Experience * High School Diploma or GED preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to use commercial English, grammar, and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions. * Must be able to read, write and speak English.
