We are an Indian kitchen in the vibrant Downtown Gourmet Market, Eindhoven, serving authentic Indian cuisine to a diverse and dynamic clientele. We seek a skilled and passionate Zelfstandig Werkend Kok to join our team and contribute to our culinary excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree (MBO Level 3) in Hotel Management, Catering Management, or equivalent is mandatory. Applications without this qualification will not be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an Indian kitchen is mandatory.
  • Expertise in authentic Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen operations independently, including inventory, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in food quality and service.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
  • Innovate and contribute to menu development with authentic Indian flavours.
