OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity in menu planning, and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift management.
  • Knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Proficient in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with dietary department practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Plan and develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee food handling practices to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate catering services for special events, including banquets and private functions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during meal periods.
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
