KoZaks Laketown Grill in Smithville, MO is looking for one chef assistant to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 1018 S Hwy 169. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. Great opportunity to learn skills and grow with a company.

Responsibilities

• Aid culinary team in preparing dishes to recipe
• Assist Executive Chef with catered events
• Ability to work the grill in high volume restaurant
• Organization/Cleanliness/Sanitation
• Assist in training new kitchen staff team members
• Ability to delegate tasks to others

Qualifications

• Proven past experience in this position
• Ability to communicate and listen effectively
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Food handling certifications that apply
