Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef/ Barista to join our team. As a Chef/ Barista you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, and a passion for culinary excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create and develop innovative menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation techniques
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menus
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Assist with special events or catering as needed
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary expertise with a focus on creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Proficient in all aspects of food preparation, including cooking techniques, ingredient selection, and portion control

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef/ Cook or similar role in a hospitality setting
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
-Previous Barista Experience would be ideal
