Bean & Base is a buzzing, community-focused restaurant in the heart of Rippleside, Geelong. We’re known for our curated seasonal brunch menu, specialty coffee, and modern, relaxed space that draws a loyal local crowd and weekend visitors alike.
We’re looking for an experienced and creative Chef to join our kitchen team. If you’re passionate about high-quality food, have a sharp eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced café environment, we want to hear from you.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality Management
Minimum 1 years of experience as a chef
Proven ability to manage a busy kitchen while producing high-quality food
Solid understanding of food cost management and kitchen operations
Current knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP)
Team-focused, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
