At Ben’s Bagel, we’re a community-focused café known for our freshly baked bagels, tasty wraps, and great coffee. We value quality, consistency, and creating a warm, welcoming space for both our customers and our team. We’re looking for an experienced Chef with baking skills who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and be part of a positive, collaborative crew.

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Baking fresh bagels, pastries, and other baked goods
• Preparing sandwiches, wraps, and salads to order
• Maintaining cleanliness during service and deep-cleaning at the end of the day
• Closing the kitchen independently when required
• Upholding excellent food safety and hygiene standards
• Working flexibly across various areas of the café to support the business when needed
• Assist in menu planning, including the creation of new dishes that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
