REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ proven chef experience in a high-volume café/restaurant
• Australian work experience is essential
• Strong skills in both café breakfast and evening casual dining dishes
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
• Reliable, fast, and able to work under pressure
• Positive team player with good organisational skills

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced Chef (Breakfast & Sous Chef) to join our kitchen team. While you’ll cover some daytime service, the role will focus mainly on evening/night shifts. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment preparing both brunch and modern fast-food items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook a wide range of café and fast-food dishes (breakfast boards, steaks, pasta, pizza, burgers, etc.)
• Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
• Manage kitchen operations during busy dinner service
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards are met
• Support the team and contribute ideas for menu improvements
• Work reliably and independently during night shifts
