We’re looking for a passionate Chef to join our kitchen team and help us raise the standard for casual dining in a sports-focused venue.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred, but not essential.
  • A passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Commis Chef, you will play a key supporting role in our kitchen, assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to maintain consistency, hygiene, and creativity across our evolving menu. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and develop in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in all kitchen areas.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including stock control and prep lists.
  • Help ensure food is delivered efficiently during busy service periods, particularly during peak hours and events.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in taste and appearance.
  • Learn and adapt to new cooking techniques, menu changes, and seasonal offerings.
  • Comply with all health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
  • Be an active, reliable, and positive member of the kitchen team.
  • Cover both Head Chefs holiday in our two venues
