WHO IS THE COFFEE CLUB?

The Coffee Club Southgate is looking for an experienced chef/short order cook for their very busy kitchen.
Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic team environment where you will be challenged to consistently create the ‘Happy Place’ for our customers. Your attention to detail will shine in this role, where you will need to prepare, plate or package the perfect dish, for every customer.

WHAT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE DO I NEED?

You will be a positive, proactive individual with good communication skills. You will have strong cooking experience along with a professional qualification (Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent). You will maintain a professional attitude at all times and be available to work weekends and nights.
You will be a team player with a strong focus on providing great customer service.

Responsibilities

As a Good Food Attendant you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of all menu food items, including making and preparing salads, sandwiches and open grills. You will be required to be across all back of house operational standards to provide Good Food. Training and resources will also be provided.

You will also be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of:

  • preparation & cooking of meals as per The Coffee Club Manuals;

· preparation, replenishment and rotation of stock in the kitchen;
· operating, maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment;

· washing dishes;

  • any other relevant duties as directed by management.
