Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
  • Develop new menu in line with residents dietary requirements
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with nurses and care staff to ensure seamless service and resident satisfaction. Serving and monitoring meals in line with temperature checks and recording data is crucial
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock for menu items. Online and on the phone in advance
  • Assist in cost control measures by minimising waste and optimising ingredient usage.
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and leadership.
  • Breakfast, lunches and dinner along with daily baking
