Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently searching for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis at Club Wyong located in Wyong, NSW!
As a Chef, your role will consist of preparing and cooking a variety of dining options whilst maintaining the highest standards and executing high quality, wholesome and well-presented meals for our customers to ensure that we continue to create memorable experiences.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include:

  • Manage efficient and high quality food preparation
  • Maintain presentation and consistency of food served
  • Service and prepare for all bistro and function meals
  • Monitoring of stock levels and complete stock rotations
  • Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality

To be successful for this role, you should have the following:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen
  • Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Food Handling certificate
  • Be self-disciplined and a team player
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, which includes days, nights, weekends and public holiday
