Le processus de transition durera plusieurs mois pour garantir une formation adéquate et permettre une intégration fluide.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ POUR LE POSTE DE CHEF COMPTABLE:

• Diplôme universitaire en comptabilité, finances ou domaine connexe.
• Titre comptable professionnel (CPA ou équivalent) est un atout.
• 5 à 7 années d’expérience en comptabilité, idéalement dans une entreprise de distribution ou manufacturière. Tout autre combinaison d’expérience et de scolarité sera considérée.
• Bonne maîtrise des normes comptables canadiennes et américaines.
• Solides compétences en leadership, analytique solide et jugement sûr.
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
• Habilité à prioriser, déléguer et gérer plusieurs dossiers.
• Excellentes compétences en analyse financière et en résolution de problèmes.
• Bilinguisme anglais-français.

  We are currently seeking a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for managing the company’s complete financial operations while working closely with the current Chief Accountant to ensure a gradual transfer of responsibilities.
  The transition process will last several months to guarantee proper training and a smooth integration.

• Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll management.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. tax and accounting standards.
• Ensure internal controls align with company policies and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and integrity.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare annual financial audits.
• Participate in budget management and financial forecasting, working closely with senior management.
• Supervise and support the current accounting team while promoting continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Facilitate the transition with the current Chief Accountant through a structured knowledge transfer over several months.
