QUALIFICATION

Successful candidates must:
· have relevant chef / cook qualifications
. Tandoor and charcoal grill experience.
. Experience to operate Commercial pasta machine.
· have relevant kitchen experience
· be hardworking
· be a team player
· have the ability to keep the working station clean and hygienic at all times
· have excellent communication skills
· have knowledge of Food Standards, ISO and HACCP
An annual salary between $79,500 to $81,000 plus superannuation will be paid to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

As part of the role, you will be expected to do the following, but not limited.
· Prepare and cook food for all the various outlets ( Green Zebra cafe and SpiceBlast Wodonga )
. Managing The Tandoor section for naans , managing Charcoal Grill for Tikka’s
· seasoned culinary professional with a creative flair and in-depth
understanding of Indian spices, textures, and techniques.
· train junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, and ensuring everyone follows
the kitchen’s procedures and standards.
· ⁠Italian Cuisine : Knowledge of Italian cuisine and a passion for showcasing the authentic flavors of Italy.
. Experience and training to operate Commercial Pasta machine to make fresh pasta , Ravioli and gnocchi.
· be involved with the implementation of new brands and cuisines.
· Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service consistency, reflecting the authentic taste of Italian cuisine.
· Financial Management: Monitor and manage the restaurant’s budget, control costs, and contribute to profit maximization.
· Customer Experience: Guarantee an exceptional dining experience for our guests by maintaining impeccable food standards, authenticity and high quality.
