Bright Patch Cafe is a brand-new, family-friendly cafe located in the heart of Proserpine, Queensland. We serve fresh, quality breakfast and lunch meals in a warm and welcoming environment.
We’re currently on the lookout for a passionate Chef/Cook to join our friendly team! If you love creating delicious, homestyle meals and enjoy working in a supportive, fast-paced kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.

• Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes to a high standard
• Assisting in the creation of daily specials and seasonal menu items
• Ensuring consistent portion control and presentation
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, following food safety standards
• Managing prep and stock rotation
• Communicating effectively with front-of-house
• Occasionally assisting with menu development or catering orders
• Monitoring stock ordering and delivery
