OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to create delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations.
We are opening an American themed diner, with authentic themed menu serving locally sourced fresh produce, so experience in this type of food and being involved right from the set up of a kitchen would be an advantage, and hopefully an exciting challenge for the right candidate.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes
