Sous Chef
$76,515.00 Pa + Super +Annual Leave + Sick Pay + Paid overtime
The applicant would be qualified or have relevant experience to match a qualified chef.
Preferably have at least 3 or 4 years cooking in a similar style venue.
Be a team player and have fun and enjoy their work.
The applicant would take charge whilst the chef was on days off and help guide staff through their daily routines. Be creative and be able to create exciting daily specials and dishes for future menus.
Be able to place orders with suppliers and communicate with management.
Knife skills, pan work, timely mise en place for service all some of the required skills.
We are a family run hotel in beautiful regional Victoria in Thornton 3712. Rubicon Hotel is very well known and a destination venue for many people. We are located close to many tourist areas such as Beautiful Lake Eildon, Mansfield, Healesville and Mount Buller.
We are willing to sponsor a 482 visa class applicant and assist in all sponsorship and visa requirements.
We Can also assist in short term accommodation.
