IPPUDO has 7 locations all around Sydney. We are hiring both kitchen staff and F&B staff at Sydney Westfield shopping centre, Circular Quay, World Square, Surry Hills and newly opening Parramatta store.
We are looking for passionate, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join us in creating a fantastic dining experience for our customers.

Cook/Chef

  • Work under the direction of Head Chef and cook food as per standardized recipes
  • Check mise en place list for the daily preparation tasks
  • Monitor and maintain stock level in the service fridges
  • Collect produce and various ingredients from the cool room to prepare for the daily food production
  • Clean section and sanitize bench prior to food preparation and cooking
  • Set up work station and regulate temperature(s) of cooking equipment including ovens, grills, and fryers as required
  • Preparation food items using different types of operating stoves and grills
  • Select and use appropriate ingredients to cook restaurant menu items
  • Prepare and cook items in a variety of styles appropriate to the food item and as required by the menu
  • Plate and present food neatly and attractively without drips and spills
  • Meet special requests or dietary requirements of customers under direction, involves adjusting menu items and ingredients
  • Portion and arrange dishes before delivery to customers
  • Operate various kitchen equipment including stove, oven, salamander, grill, deep fryers, mixers, refrigerators and cool rooms, mandolin, peeler and graters, knives, pots and pans
  • Demonstrate good teamwork with all kitchen and food service staff to ensure timely, quality service of food
  • Monitor the use of food to ensure waste is minimized
  • Provide assistance to the other chefs and attend Kitchen briefings and meetings where required
  • Maintain safety and hygiene of food preparation and equipment, sanitary food handling practices following HACCP principles
  • Meet time and temperature for chilling products
  • Select correct containers for storage
  • Willingness to learn basic Japanese words

Server

  • Greeting customers and leading them to their tables
  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Serving food and drinks in a timely manner
  • Checking in with customers during their meal
  • Delivering checks and collecting payments
  • Keeping the dining area clean
  • Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $29.33 – $30.13 per hour
