JOB DESCRIPTION

Contemplation Homes are currently recruiting for a position of Chef/Cook at Southlands Nursing Home in Havant, Hampshire.
We are seeking a dedicated individual who would like to work in a warm and welcoming setting. It would be a two-week rota, working week 1, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. Week 2, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There is availability for overtime .

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Food Hygiene certificate level 3
• Dysphagia training including modification of food for swallowing difficulties (training will be provided)
• Nutritional expertise
• Previous experience of cooking in a residential/nursing home
  Competitive rates of pay, and regular training.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences of residents
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen environment
