The Orangery @ Drenagh is looking for a Chef / Cook to join our team in Limavady. We are looking for someone with a lively and positive attitude.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a chef preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to maintain a professional demeanour in both private and public situations.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: From £12.21 per hour

• Prepare food for service (e.g. cook menu items in a timely manner, assemble components of dishes, prepare garnishes etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of the food
• Clean food production areas (kitchen, prep areas, refrigeration)
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area that allows for safe food preparation and serving, at all times
• Knowledge of equipment and how to operate it
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in kitchens
• Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures
• Restock inventory as needed
• Work as a team member and communicate with staff (at all levels) to ensure a positive work environment
• Additional duties as assigned by manager, may be assigned by owner, and manager training may be required
