Position: Chef de Partie  The Role at a Glance: This position plays a key role within our hotels. As a Chef de Partie you will oversee all sections of the kitchen. You will mentor & supervise a team of line cooks and work closely with our kitchen management and overall team on our culinary offering. You will have the opportunity to participate in various meal periods, cuisines and culinary styles and this is the perfect growth opportunity to continue to grow in your culinary career.  Your Day To Day Duties:  * Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within standard operating procedures. * Training, mentoring and supervising culinary team members acting as a liaison to kitchen management. * Helping the kitchen management to develop new dishes and menus. * Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. * Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. * Reporting to day-to-day operations to your kitchen leader, ie. items to be ordered, preparation, cleanliness, colleague issues/concerns. * Prepare and deliver a high quality culinary experience and execute on our menu items.  * Create flow on the line by ensuring up to date knowledge of inventory levels at your station and timely delivery of food orders. * Take accountability for the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen, the quality of product you present and serve, communicating ordering and prep across the kitchen team and with kitchen management. * You will work towards achieving individual and team goals.   * Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times. * Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management. You have:  * You share a passion for culinary arts and hotel management. * Prior cooking experience and willingness to learn along with at least 5 years of kitchen experience in a cook role. * Versed in food safety to ensure the highest standards are executed (Food Safe Level 1 preferred)  * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays  * Other duties and tasks assigned by your manager, as required     Special Requirements and Certifications:  * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job * Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 50 pounds  Room to Grow: We are expanding to new locations and the right candidate could see opportunities to not only grow within the business, but work in new and exciting places.
