Job Description We are seeking a talented and innovative Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Southampton, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the development of our menu offerings. Assist in the creation and execution of menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative culinary concepts Manage food inventory and storage in coordination with the Head Chef Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP regulations Contribute to cost control efforts and process optimization in the kitchen Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and presentation standards Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members Maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist in menu planning and food presentation for banquets and special events Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu improvements and operational efficiency Qualifications Completed culinary education or equivalent professional training Strong knowledge of various culinary techniques and food preparation methods Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated creativity in menu design and interest in innovative culinary concepts Strong teamwork and communication skills Proficiency in food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP regulations Experience in inventory management and cost control (preferred) Leadership experience or potential to guide junior kitchen staff Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent time management and prioritization skills Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences Additional Information We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
