Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE, by being part of the opening team! The CDP will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and will be an integral part of the kitchen team. None of these recipes will scare you: Recipe 1: Supervise kitchen operations to ensure quality dishes.​ Recipe 2: Maintain kitchen high standards.​ Recipe 3: Plan menus with management and manage budget.​ Recipe 4: Ensure food safety compliance.​ Recipe 5: Foster creativity while adhering to brand concept.​ Recipe 6: Collaborate with other departments for guest satisfaction. Recipe 7: Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained. Recipe 8: Assist Head Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service. Recipe 9: Always striving to provide total customer satisfaction through efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests. This includes leading by example when attending to guest requests. Qualifications Because you’ve got it in you: Do not hesitate to go the extra mile. A palate dedicated to serving both the customer and the team. Teamwork comes naturally to you. A desire to learn and grow. YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS ARE: 2-4 years experience in a similar role Holds a Level 4/5 Diploma in Professional Cookery. Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours). Organise time and work efficiently. Ability to work weekends, public holidays and nights due to the business needs Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress. The right to work in New Zealand.
