Job Description Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for running your own section, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency, and supporting the team across all areas of the kitchen as needed. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef with daily operations, including prep and service Supervise and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Take ownership of your section, ensuring smooth and efficient service Uphold food presentation and portion standards across all outlets Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and maintain accurate stock rotation Ensure all equipment and work areas are maintained to the highest WHS and hygiene standards Qualifications What we’re looking for: Proven experience in a similar role within a busy, high-volume kitchen environment. Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent). Strong technical cooking skills across a variety of techniques and cuisines. Demonstrated experience in dinner service and Conference & Events (C&E) operations. At least 2–3 years’ experience working in events and leading night-time kitchen teams. Availability to work evenings across a 7-day roster. Proven leadership capability, with experience guiding and supervising junior chefs during service. Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills. Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Additional Information Why work for Accor?
