Work closely with fellow chefs to maintain flexibility and teamwork across all kitchen areas. Prepare and cook dishes with precision, urgency, and consistency, following recipes and quality standards. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in all food handling, preparation, and storage. Maintain a clean and organized work environment that meets all health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and inventory, anticipate needs, and communicate effectively with supervisors. Minimize food waste and control costs through efficient practices and standardized recipes. Ensure buffet stations are well-presented, regularly replenished, and responsive to guest demand. Support the successful delivery of food service for conferences and events. Qualifications NZQCF Level Diploma or A qualified chef with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Demonstrated creativity and flair in menu execution and food presentation. Highly organized with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. A positive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a hotel or commercial kitchen is highly regarded. Available to work on a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Morning and Afternoon shifts.
