We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, the Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your specialty section.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Assist in developing new menu items and specials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Oversee and mentor commis chefs and junior staff within your section.
  • Manage inventory for your section and communicate stock needs to the Sous Chef.
  • Minimize waste and control portion sizes to manage food costs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
