Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Donegal
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3 pm, and Friday 7 am to 2 pm.
As Chef de Partie bring your passion for high-quality, locally sourced food to a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Recognised professional culinary qualification
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen health & safety, legislation and HACCP
  • Confident with costing, menu planning and stock management
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • A true team player who can also work independently and take initiative
  • Strong relationship and people management skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Plan and engineer weekly menus on a monthly cycle, using fresh local produce
  • Maintain tight stock control and food costings, keeping GP% targets on track.
  • Lead by example on food safety, hygiene and compliance, including full kitchen documentation
  • Train new team members on kitchen standards and procedures
  • Handle client interactions professionally, managing compliments and complaints within agreed timeframes
  • Keep all areas clean, secure and compliant with health & safety and audit requirements
