JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de Partie/Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining food safety protocols, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A genuine passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food served.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
