Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie - Arabic to join their extraordinary culinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses, the newly opened Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park includes 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Ideally, you’ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we’re looking for:

  • Completion of a degree or certificate in culinary arts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Arabic cuisine required
  • Vast knowledge of international culinary practices, menus and offerings
  • High level of written and verbal English
Responsibilities
  • Assist Sous Chef to manage day-to-day kitchen activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
  • Assist Sous Chef to manage all functions of the Outlet Kitchen operations to achieve optimum departmental profit
  • Assist Sous Chef to manage all functions of the Outlet Kitchen operations to achieve the optimum quality level of food production and sanitation
  • Assist Sous Chef to oversee special events and special food promotions
  • Assist Sous Chef to issues recipes and maintains up-dated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operation
  • Assist Sous Chef to develop new dishes and product
