JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at our beautiful vineyard estate. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique setting where the menu is built around seasonal produce grown on-site and sourced from nearby farms. As a CDP, you’ll take ownership of kitchen sections and play a key role in delivering fresh, produce-driven dishes that reflect our connection to the land and surrounding region.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.
· Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
· Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities
  • Run a designated sections of the kitchen to consistently high standards.
  • Prepare and cook dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients grown on the estate and sourced from trusted local suppliers.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet our standards.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene.
  • Assist with daily prep and contribute to menu development with creative, produce-led ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with other chefs to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow health and safety, food safety, and allergen protocols at all times.
  • Help manage stock, reduce waste, and support sustainable kitchen practices.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Step in for the other chefs in their absence.
