As a key member of our kitchen Heartist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian dishes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations during service Manage your station efficiently, including mise en place and inventory control Assist in menu development and suggest innovative Asian dishes Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Asian cooking techniques Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, specializing in Asian cuisine In-depth knowledge of various Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients Strong culinary skills with the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain portion control Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
