Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our professional and dynamic kitchen team at our award winning restaurant Bacar Restaurant & Bar, located within the Pullman Hotel.
Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the smooth, day-to-day operation within our award-winning restaurant during lunch and dinner service period.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel kitchen with strong knowledge of modern Australian cuisine, cooking techniques, presentation skills.

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS:

Ability to manage your section efficiently, maintain par levels, and handle pressure during busy services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage lunch and dinner service. Lead the team, ensuring adequate supplies are available for service.
  • Prepare and present menu items with creativity, variety, and flair.
  • Train and develop the team to deliver high-quality preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure effective stock rotation and minimise wastage.
  • Mentor and coordinate the work of junior chefs.
  • Assist with implementing programs to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
