Job Description At Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, our signature Bacar Restaurant is known for refined dishes, bold flavours, and impeccable presentation. We’re now seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team and bring their flair to one of Sydney’s most exciting dining destinations. What You’ll be doing: Work alongside our Executive and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Lead by example, supervising the kitchen in their absence and guiding junior team members. Prepare and present dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency. Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation across all sections. Support in menu development, mise en place, and maintaining stock control and cost efficiency. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will be: Relevant culinary trade qualifications with proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel environment. Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles. Strong knowledge of contemporary Australian cuisine and seasonal produce. A passion for flavour, presentation, and continuous learning. Calm under pressure, with great teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining food safety and WHS standards. Be flexible to work on a rotating roster that includes nights, weekends and public holidays. Have full working rights in Australia. Additional Information Why Join Us?
