JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Baker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef de Partie/Baker, you will be responsible for preparing ,cooking and baking meals according to our established recipes and standards, ensuring that every dish is presented beautifully and served promptly.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in food preparation techniques , baking and cooking methods.
  • Previous kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
  • Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking and baking including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, marinating meats, preparing pastries and baking.
  • Cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring consistency in flavour and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and washing up plates and cooking equipment, organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to serve food yo customers to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
